Outdoor Shower Post — Cedar
A freestanding cedar shower post with pre-drilled holes for a standard shower head mount and a garden hose quick-connect fitting. It is 7 feet tall, a 4×4 post on a 24×24 inch base plate for stability. It is the simplest outdoor shower: connect a garden hose, hang a shower head, rinse off.
Cedar contains natural extractives that are toxic to fungi and insects, and it weathers beautifully and resists rot for 10+ years with no treatment. The base can be staked into the ground or weighted on a deck. A shower head and hose kit is optional (see accessories).
