Three-Bin Compost System — Cedar

This is a handcrafted cedar three-bin compost system. Each bin measures 3×3×3 feet. The front slats are removable and slide out from the bottom, which makes it easier to turn the pile and to shovel out finished compost. CNC-routed ventilation panels are cut into the sides, and a slatted lid sheds rain while allowing airflow. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout.

The cedar construction looks good enough to place anywhere in the yard, not just hidden behind the shed. Three bins let you work in stages: one for fresh material, one for material that is actively decomposing and being turned, and one for finished compost.
