Bluebird House — Cedar

A cedar nesting box designed to bluebird specifications — 1.5 inch entry hole, 6x7 inch floor, 12 inches tall from floor to roof. The entry hole is positioned 9 inches above the floor, which is the depth Eastern and Western bluebirds prefer for nesting. CNC-cut ventilation slots near the roofline prevent overheating, and drainage channels routed into the floor keep the nest dry after rain. The front panel swings open on a stainless steel pivot for nest monitoring and seasonal cleaning. Mount on a post or pole 5 to 6 feet high in an open area facing away from prevailing wind.
