Wheelchair-Accessible Raised Bed — Single-Side Access

This is a single-side wheelchair-accessible raised bed built from solid white oak. It measures 24" deep by 48"–72" long by 28"–30" tall, a height that matches the working surface height used in the site's accessible bed plans. The bed is designed for wheelchair users who reach the soil from one side.

The apron leaves a minimum of 7" of clearance underneath for footrests. White oak is a closed-grain hardwood, and the site describes it as naturally waterproof, durable outdoors without treatment, and food safe. It weathers from a warm honey tone to silver-gray.
